WrestleStat Rankings | Week 6 2020

Now THESE are the kind of rankings I like seeing each week, where there’s lots of movement as a result of some great wrestling, and big upsets.

Some notables:

#2 Nick Piccinnini of Oklahoma State dropped a spot to #3 after being upset by Patrick Glory over the weekend. Michael DeAugustino moved up 19 spots to finish at #12 after a very solid performance at CKLV.

At 149, Brayton Lee moved up 5 spots to #5 after winning the CKLV last weekend. Peyton Robb of Nebraska also shot up 10 spots to #22 after going 4-2 at CKLV.

Thomas Bullard of NC State (165) moved up 8 spots after getting 3rd last weekend as well.

In both dual and tournament rankings, Penn State has regained the top spot over Iowa after a couple Iowa guys slid down a little, while Penn State has 2 new starters in the lineup with Brandon Meredith (125) and true freshman Aaron Brooks (184).

  1. For fun, I ran your ranking through my NCAA simulator, and obtained the following results: PSU wins 49.4% of the time (middle 50% of scores between 98-117), Iowa wins 50.5% of the time (middle 50% of scores between 96-120).
