WrestleStat Rankings | Week 16 2020

Last week after the official Coaches Rankings was released, we made some enhancements to our RPI Rankings page. It now displays the WrestleStat RPI, Official Coaches Rankings, along with the Win% and records. This should give fans a one-stop-shop to look at the different criteria used for seeding come tournament time.

In tournament rankings this week, Princeton moved up another spot and is now in the top 5. The top 3 remain the same, with Iowa, Penn State, and then Ohio State. At number 4, Wisconsin slides up 1 spot from last week.

Individual rankings didn’t see too drastic of changes: Jacob Schwarm of UNI moved up 3 spots to #9 after his pin of Alex Mackall (Iowa State). At 141, Mitch McKee moved down 1 spot after getting upset by Max Murin, although Murin did not move up in the rankings, though his ELO rating definitely went up 10 points. Samuel Colbray moved up 8 spots to #9 after his big upset win over Bryce Steiert (UNI) last weekend.
